The 2026 Hands-On Electron Beam Technology Workshop hosted by Texas A&M University (TAMU) and the National Center for Electron Beam Research (NCEBR) is the premiere educational event in the practical use of electron beams for both medical and agricultural sterilization. BYOP – Bring Your Own Product

TAMU and NCEBR will be running a series of Bring-Your-Own-Product exercises throughout the event where attendees will be able to bring in sample materials to TAMU’s e-beam facility in order to demonstrate the dose-mapping process for your product or sample.

Session I – Medical & Pharmaceutical Sterilization

The first session of the workshop is focused towards the applied use of electron beam and X-ray technology for the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries, and runs from April 20th – 22nd.

Session II – Agricultural Sterilization

The second session of the workshop is focused towards the applied use of electron beam and X-ray technology for the fresh food, fresh produce, phytosanitary, pet food, and agricultural industries, and runs from April 22nd – 24th.
