The 2026 Hands-On Electron Beam Technology Workshop hosted by Texas A&M University (TAMU) and the National Center for Electron Beam Research (NCEBR) is the premiere educational event in the practical use of electron beams for both medical and agricultural sterilization. Meet with an array of experts and industry sponsors in the practical applications of electron beams. Our president, Joe Marston, will be presenting on the first day of the event about the advantages of in-house low-energy electron beams for sterilizing medical products inline with production. BYOP – Bring Your Own Product

TAMU and NCEBR will be running a series of Bring-Your-Own-Product exercises throughout the event where attendees will be able to bring in sample materials to TAMU’s e-beam facility in order to demonstrate the dose-mapping process for your product or sample.

Session I – Medical & Pharmaceutical Sterilization

The first session of the workshop is focused towards the applied use of electron beam and X-ray technology for the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries, and runs from April 20th – 22nd.

Session II – Agricultural Sterilization

The second session of the workshop is focused towards the applied use of electron beam and X-ray technology for the fresh food, fresh produce, phytosanitary, pet food, and agricultural industries, and runs from April 22nd – 24th.
